I wrote to the BBC in '07 and they did send me the Dalek card.So they do send them out to the general public. The accompanying letter though,I have to add,did imply that they were doing me some huge favour by sending it to me.Jeez! It's only a piece of card! I was writing on behalf of my ill nephew too.

Hi, While on ebay recently I noticed a Doctor Who postcard which seems to show a cartoon character of a Who type fan (ie holding various merchandise) surrounded by cartoon images of monsters .I have now seen two of these cards..both different. The seller suggests they hail from The Millenium Dome.I wondered if anyone has any information about them. There is one on at the momement..Sorry I cant provide a link. Thanks Gaz

11th Doctor and Amy Pond Promo Postcard (Front) Both this and the new Matt Smith 11th Doctor postcards sold on ebay for an incredible £57 each!! Considering these items may well be given away for free on the forthcoming publicity tour, this was a very high price to pay. Richard

Maybe the publicity tour anit going near where the buyer lives? But I agree it is a very high price for what is supposedly a free promotional postcard from the BBC. But there were a lot of bidders so I assume that it's hard for some people to get a hold of them. They should make them more available to fans then the eBay sellers wouldn't get so much money for them.

Agreed - the fan cards over the last 5 years have all been relatively hard to get and always demand a good price on ebay when first released - given a few months the demand lessons and the more common cards sell for next to nothing. There are still some rare gems such as Captain Jack and the 9th Holographic Doctor which will get high prices. Richard
