One of the classic children's games gets a Who makeover with this release. Operation traditionally involves carefully trying to remove body parts from a 'patient' with a buzzer sounding if the metal tweezers touch the sides of the 'wound'. In this variant you have to remove bits of Dalek machinery and gubbins from one of the creatures and it screams out various phrases if you fail. I had forgotten (or perhaps even never knew) that Operation has money and cards as well as the gameboard and pieces, and that you get paid for successful operations. Thus there are Doctor Who themed versions of these too, with Dalek banknotes available to be paid in. My only complaint with this toy is that the instructions on how to set it up are very hard to follow - and considering that what you need to do is actually very simple, if you try and follow the instructions you'll be there for hours! The Dalek voice is nice and loud and the graphics and design are really well thought out. It's a great game too, just the thing for Christmas Day or a birthday party to keep the kids happy for a half hour or so. David

I saw this yesterday for £14.99 and was kind of tempted... maybe if i see it in a sale.
What i'm really looking for is the 'Magic robot' game that's recently come out - that i'd snap up!

We succumbed to temptation. My partner has 3 kids so it was a great excuse lol. We've also got the spinomatic dalek game which is great for younger kids.
