Finally got one of these today after putting it off a few times and regretting it. What is more I decided to take it out of the packaging for a change and was surprised at the detailing.
First off the package includes the faceless granny from The Idiot's Lantern with a replacement head with her actual face, a period TV with the Wire and even the little bakerlite box the Doctor created again with the Wire on.
What I had not appreciated was the period TV is lenticular with the picture of the Wire smiling and morphing. What is more, even the tiny picture on the small box is lenticular too! This is a wonderful piece of detailing and at £6.99 makes you wonder what the justification of this price for the Scarecrows, Martha, Hoix etc is.
This is definitely my favourite of the CO models now, which is ironic as it is the most minor character so far.

Agreed - small touches that make this a really fun example!!! Wonder if Maureen Lipman received any royalties? Richard

I agree too! A very minor character and i'm increasingly critical of C.O. for stripmining the series to these depths but this particular figure is made very different to the rest of the range by the amount of detail and accesories that come with it... I suspect it was originally intended for a gift set(?) I think given the accesories and detail this will be something of an overlooked figure in the present but become a sterling collector item in the coming years.
