I haven't been interested in Doctor Who calendars since the mid-90s, I used to buy them yearly but but felt the money could be put tto better use eventually. I'd seen this Desktop calendar on sale a couple of months ago but being boxed probobly isn't the best of sales decisions, not when it's priced at £6.99(?) either. Fortunatly I saw this in the sales half price and bought it on a whim and i'm glad i did! Spiral bound this calendar can be stood on your desk or any surface and consists of a dual split system where you can flip to any of the twelve images of your choice, this means instead of spending the whole of january looking at David Tennants mug you can flip over to a Sycorax on Monday, A Dalek on Tuesday, an Ood on wednesday and so on... Probobly the least boring calendar system ever! The choice of images are generally very dynamic and well placed though there are one or two that will make you wonder " why*??" Like I said I got this half price and i'm sure if you look around you will find it at that reduction too, I don't think it's quite worth £6.99 as that puts it in the same sort of range as the official full size calendar but at the same time it is definitly worth buying. When it's life is over you can cannabilize it for the pictures! * If you don't like Donna or the Absobaloff for example, tough. they're in there!
