Non-Fiction?
In no particular order, my top five or so:
Steve Cambdens Biography & FX follow-up - An obscure footnote in the annals of Doctor Who production he may be but what a brilliant book! It's about as personal and inspirational as it gets and has left a real impression on me.
The Howe/Stammers Decade trinity from Virgin - if you weren't there when these came out you might not appreciate what makes them special. They are totally accessable and I'd give them to any non-fan, they aren't heavy reads but are so full of detail and nostalgia I defy anyone not to get sucked into the subject.
The Toybox Book - It seems strange no one did one before this. But it's the book I most dip into, at least every fortnight i'll be browsing or checking some detail in it, and that's what a guidebook should do.
Lance Parkins 'A History' (Only continuity & Canon Geeks like me would appreciate why!)
Still Getting Away With It - Courtneys Biography isn't perfect but like all the listed books here it's one i learned a lot from and was immensely informative on a number of different levels.

The Toybox (howe & blumberg)
Dimensions In Time & Space (campbell)
I Am The Doctor (pertwee) - although my own copy has not arrived yet!
