What is the retail price??? Tesco in Dalkeith had this and the other 3 figure sets in today(they are exclusive to Tesco) - price stickers saying half price and selling for £10 each (so beware that some stores wil no doubt have them at the full rrp of £20). The stickers do come off with care without damaging the packaging. Not quite sure why the classic cybermen set hs the banner "Age of Steel" but the box is nice with photos on the back of the pre-production versions with the correct Invasion headgear!! Richard

Stocks were low David and I haven't seen them in other local Tesco stores yet but I suspect UK distribution is underway and I wouldn't be surprised if they end up reduced again after Xmas. Even at £10 that is good value - especially the 3 Cybermen set!
In the Series One boxset - the 1st Doctor comes with Mickey head etc (as per one of the carded releases) and Jabe with a metal spider.
All in all good value sets (particularly the Series 3 one with 2 all new figures) - I wonder why there is no series 4 set?

I will try and post some pics of the sets at the weekend if non-one else beats me to it! The packaging in itself is interesting as it has been totally revised from previous sets. Far lighter rectangular boxes are used (opening from ends rather than top) with shiny red (series one), blue (series 2), green (series 3) and silver (Age of Steel) as the main colours of outer packaging and inner sleeves. The current BBC logo (on purple background) is prominent on all of the boxes and, unlike previous sets, the figures are illustrated on the back of the box by pics of pre-production "rigid" versions with the characters names (no details other than the stories the various Cybermen come from on the Age of Steel box). In previous releases there has always been photos of the real characters and blurb about them or the story they appeared in. I have to say I rather like the new boxes which appear to be easy to open and the figures can be stored in them (although the usual tag wires secure them in place in the boxes when bought). They are also far easier to store/stack than other examples - a very big plus as far as I am concerned!! I suspect the revised packaging is a cost cutting exercise but it works better in my opinion for standard figure releases. Richard

I had a look for them in Bedford yesterday, but no joy. I'll probably try the big MK branch today or tomorrow.
