A really neat idea, the SpinnerZ are a small model (of a Dalek or a TARDIS) housed in a little plastic dome. You clip this to your mobile and when it rings or you get or send a message then the little model spins around and small blue LEDs light up. On my phone it also activates when you turn the phone off and on, and it's a lovely little device, apparently using new technology (whatever that may be). There are also some phone charms which flash when the phone rings, and the plastic image in each case also acts as a screen wipe ... All these items are very cheaply priced, and the novelty value alone should see them being very popular indeed. Phone Charms - £3.99 each SpinnerZ - £4.99 each

I purchased the Dalek version of the phone spinner and I must say I was not at all impressed It didnt work at all. The leaflet thats enclosed with it hardly inspires confidence telling you that by removing the insulator strip to activate the batteries may result in you having to dismantle the tiny thing to reposition the batteries so as to get it to work well needless to say I repositioned the batteries and .......... Nothing dead as a Dodo!
Took it back and got a refund. I shall not be buying anymore

I couldn't resist and bought the Tardis version of the spinner. Very cute. Only works on certain phone networks, I think it said GSM only. Seems to not work if the signal is weak and such but when it does it is very cute. Got 3 for 2 at Boots, regular price 4.99
