What a wonderful idea! A little Dalek to sit on your PC and spy on you ... quite literally. The webcam comes with software which worked perfectly first time for me, and has an integral microphone as well as manually adjustable lens. This was a little fiddly to turn, as of course you have to move closer to it to turn the lens, and then back to normal position to check the focus ... unless you have someone to help you then this could take a little time to set up. The Dalek has a stand and clip thing, but on my PC there is nowhere to use this - there are no parts of the PC or screen which are 'clippable to' in a manner where the webcam can then see me! The lens is hidden behind a small 'door' in the base of the Dalek so when not in use, the lens can be covered and protected. This is a nice touch also, and means that the thing can double as an ornament when not in use. Overall a nice little 'boy's toy' and of course incredibly useful for chatting to friends online.
